【レポートの概要】

The cloud services brokerage and enablement market is expected to grow from USD 7.44 Billion in 2016 to USD 26.71 Billion by 2021, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 29.1% during the forecast period. Rapid adoption of hybrid cloud technologies, avoiding vendor lock-in, effective enterprise cost saving, and increasing demand for single point cloud services access are the major drivers of this market.
Cloud services brokerage segment is expected to be the fastest-growing segment in the market. The fear of vendor lock-in is often cited as a major impediment to cloud service adoption, which means that many customers stay with a provider that doesn’t meet their needs, just to avoid the cumbersome process. The best way to avoid vendor lock-in is to choose one’s cloud services wisely in the first place. Thus, the prevention of vendor lock-in is providing momentum to the growth of the CSB segment.

Large numbers of Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) are transforming themselves into cloud brokers in the market due to the high demand for multiple cloud services from the end-users and greater adoption of hybrid cloud model. Thus, due to the increased adoption, the complexities surrounding the hybrid cloud such as the governance, compliance, orchestration of applications, systems and services and billing needed greater technical attention and unification. This gave rise to the need for intermediaries (cloud brokers) and eventually led to more TSPs extending to the roles of cloud brokers, which is the major factor behind the high growth rate of TSPs.

The North American region is expected to have the largest market share in 2016, whereas the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is expected to grow at a faster CAGR from 2016 to 2021 in the cloud services brokerage and enablement market. The major growth factors that would further drive the adoption of cloud brokering services include the presence of a dynamic business environment, the increasing adoption of multiple cloud services for cost savings, and an indispensable need for achieving better productivity and efficiency through centralized cloud governance.

Concerns over application portability on various cloud environments, survival through the CSB hype cycle and the lack of awareness and security concerns are some of the restraints and challenges in the market. The pace with which companies are embracing cloud and IT technologies, solutions, and platforms, it has become important for the companies to look for better privacy and security services and thus companies are relying on cloud brokering services.

The major vendors in the market include Accenture, Capgemini, NEC Corporation, ComputeNext, Jamcracker, Arrow Electronics, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Gravitant, Liaison Technologies, Nephos Technologies, DoubleHorn, and CloudMore. These players adopted various strategies such as new service development, mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, and partnerships to serve the cloud services brokerage and enablement market.
